You may want to check your jumpers and at the very LEAST, reseat them. Although that would only be a problem once it's got past the POST. I consider a "full reinstall" to include Windows and all applications. I've thought of a clean install for a few days, but it's always tricky and time consuming to configure everything again. As we all know, heating causes expansion, which can affect different things in different ways. I'll use the program and see if that helps.

Its only when I do shutdown ans starts up again.. I have a Fujitsu Amilo LI 3910 that was basically not a happy machine. I'll just load all my programs again to check. I am assuming that you did not change anything before the problem became apparent.
I'm loging off as its now bedtime over here in the UK. It happened to me once but I've never worked out why. Won't boot back up unless left untouched for 5-10 minutes.
