What I was hoping is to give them a stand alone exe file which is all they would need. Just build the source; you must get the DLL and EXE. Often users are missing libraries or have the wrong version, this should be easily interpretable from dependency walker output. Should I ask my co-author before I upload an article (that he already told me is okay to publish) to arXiv? a fantastic read
